Here’s a picture of my Yahoo inbox. Note the last message is sent from “Virus,” which made me laugh. I’m testing out a keen new feature of 30 Boxes, called Buddy Cards. The basic idea is that, for those individuals who have an account at 30Boxes, whenever they leave a comment, it will detect that their email address matches the address of their 30Boxes account, and VIOLA, a buddy card is displayed. The more I use 30 Boxes, the more I like it. Sure, it’s a remarkably stable calendar, and that’s worth the price of admission alone, but it’s much more than that. For example, it’s pretty easy to syndicate content from my calendar to any website. Over at Big Flaming Pile, there an experiment going on. Brian has opened up a wall in his room to the internet, and allows people to submit things they’d like for him to write. Well, on a whim, I submitted a quote from my favorite pioneer in film, Charlie Chaplin. |
