I recently started getting into Amie Street quite a bit. You can get a lot of good music really cheap. Heck, if you’re quick enough, you can get some good stuff for free. I recently obtained all of Jonathan Coulton’s songs for fifty cents, which is absolutely amazing.
I’ve decided that I will occasionally share a song or two that I discover on Amie Street, as there’s some neat stuff there. This time around, I’m going to be sharing an entire album by soft-rockers (and new parents) The Weepies. Their latest album, Say I Am You, is a beautiful series of songs that I can’t seem to yet get tired of listening to.
Give it a try, and see if this album doesn’t hook you.

The best part about Amie Street is that their tracks are DRM-free! They have an excellent business model and have attracted a few big named artists. I enjoy the Thievery Corporation, which has a few tracks available.
Thanks for the support Lucas.
Andrew, please stop by. We have a wonderful plug in for Amie St. Music Wednesday. It will work well with your WP blog. I’m currently working on getting the new one ready with the player that the Amie Street people built for us.
If you need some help with the plug in, let me know. I can’t help you pick your music though, but everyone @ Amie St. Music Wednesday has some good sugestions.
Actually I have found a few good songs on there. Having a fantasy record label is a bit time consuming though. I think “forehad label” is on the verge of collapse. lol
