Yesterday, Daniele and I took a day trip, sans children, up to the Valles Caldera national preserve (via Los Alamos), and then back home through the Jemez Mountains. We had a great time, and took lots of photographs to remind us of the trip.

We had such a good time, we’ve decided that we’re going to get away without the kids and do this sort of thing more often.
