The more I use 30 Boxes, the more I like it. Sure, it’s a remarkably stable calendar, and that’s worth the price of admission alone, but it’s much more than that. For example, it’s pretty easy to syndicate content from my calendar to any website.
For instance, you can go here to see a complete schedule of my kids’ soccer games, and that’s pretty cool by itself. However, there’s more:
- You can get an RSS feed for your newsreader
- Download an ICS file for iCalendar or subscribe to the iCalendar feed
- Add it to your My Yahoo or Google start page
- Save a CSV file to use in other non-open standards based applications like Microsoft Outlook
That’s just scratching the tip of the iceberg. Thanks to SMS reminders, I get a message sent to my cellphone an hour before each game. Plus, if you want to know what I’m up to, you can always check out my buddy page and find out. If you decide to give it a try, let me know, and I may even be able to point you to some useful resources.
